The tech behind this is Google's experimental Notebook LM, a tool that takes any content—videos, documents, or books—and turns it into study notes, guides, or even, in this case, a full-blown podcast conversation. What's fascinating isn't just how it summarises content, but how the tool itself was developed using AI end-to-end, launching in just a few weeks.
Listening to these AI voices unpack ideas in their own way is strangely compelling. Yes we will grow tired of these voices eventually, right now it's an amazing showcase of AI's potential to revolutionise knowledge transfer.
